The Person Behind the Artist
A Little About Me!
I am predominantly Performing and Visual Arts educator based in Southeastern Massachusetts and a professional performing artist! I am a Fall River, Massachusetts Native and have always grown up with a love for singing and dancing. I began my music, dance, and theatrical education at On Stage Academy of Performing Arts at the age of four and I have now graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Dean College. I love being able to tell a story that touches an audience through music and movement!
Throughout my collegiate experience, I not only had many main stage performance opportunities, but I was able to explore my love of choreographing and directing, as well! I hold a special place in my heart for creating stories through all forms of dance that an audience can love and that dancers love doing. I began directing and choreographing in children's theatre productions, then brought my creative joy for choreographing my own pieces with collegiate level dancers at Dean. I later brought my interest in choreography working as an Assistant Choreographer at Stagedoor Manor in summer 2024 where I discovered a new love for dance and theatre education.
I currently serve as the Director of Bishop Stang High School Theatre Company directing and choreographing one play, one musical, and one summer intensive each year. This 2025-2026 school year, I had the pleasure of directing The Great Gatsby in the fall and Anastasia in the spring. I also teach ballet and jazz to students ages 12-18 at Empower Dance Industry while also teaching music and art to children ages PreK-8th Grade in the Diocese of Fall River.
Performance
I am a recent graduate of Dean College where I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre with the highest GPA in my program. At Dean, I performed in a diverse range of musicals including Let it Be, She Loves Me, RENT, Pippin, All Shook Up, How to Succeed, and All Together Now.
I have just begun to perform professionally in 2025. I most recently worked in the dance ensemble with Raye Lynn Mercer and Clay Rice Thompson (Broadways Moulin Rouge, King Kong, Matilda, and Newsies) in The Producers at Franklin Performing Arts Company.
Directing and Choreographing
I had the privilege of being working at Stagedoor Manor in summer 2024 as an assistant choreographer for a diverse resume of shows such as Mary Poppins, Nunsense MEGA, and Babes in Arms.
Post-grad, I am currently the Director/Choreographer for Bishop Stang High School's Theatre program. This past year I directed and choreographed Gary Peterson play adaptation of The Great Gatsby as well as, my dream show to direct, the musical Anastasia! I Bring a professional and collegiate directing style to rehearsals while also giving students the support and encouragement to shine!
